The colorful flowers in the beautifully manicured garden beckon, so take a stroll; look ahead of the sparkling pool (so inviting!) to the white sand picnic beach. ...a perfect spot for watching Kona's famous sunsets. (You might even see a whale, dolphins or a Green Flash). There are 3 Propane grills at the water's edge and everything you need to grill a gourmet meal is in the condo. For a Sunset Dinner "your way" Kona Isles' beach is the best place in town. Do you just want to kick back, chill or read a book? You can borrow a book from the well-stocked onsite free library. Lounge on a chair at the sunny and shady beach or at the pool. Or, kick back in the coolness of the air conditioned 1 bedroom/1 bathroom 3rd floor apartment.
Our modern open-floor-plan fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing a multi-course meal; a quick snack or grab the blender and mix up your favorite tropical beverage. Serve it all up on pretty Ocean-Themed dinnerware.
There is so much to do on the Big Island but keep in mind, there's a reason it's called the "Big Island" ...it's big! To see the entire island, including Hilo, the Volcano, Black Sand Beach, South Point (the most southerly point of the U.S.) and more, you'll want to rent a car which you can park in an assigned FREE PARKING space.
Working while on vacation? We got you covered with free HIGH-SPEED Internet and USB Ports at the desk, in the kitchen and in the bedroom. (Of course, USB adapters can be used elsewhere).
Sometimes you may just want to kick back and watch T.V. There's a large-screen Smart TV in the Living Room and another in the bedroom. The Chaise Sofa in the living room converts to a Queen-sized bed and the featherbed mattress topper stowed in the sofa's chaise makes it very comfortable.

We're located 1/1/4 miles from town, an energetic walk or catch the Kona Trolley. You may also rent a Jump Bike on the curb about ¼ mile from the condo. Parking in Kona town can be difficult and now it costs.
Kona Isle has a free library and reading room; a fresh-water pool and it's right next door to Kona's public salt-water pool. Alii Market Place is across the street and about 100 yards south of the condo. It's a fun place to shop there is a fresh Produce Stand; coffee tasting; shave ice; souvenirs, food trucks and lots more. Next door to Kona Isle to the North is a liquor store in the Case de Emdeko complex.
Kona Isle is a favorite vacation spot for retirees who appreciate the laid-back, tropical "chill-vibe". Typically, it's quiet. If you're looking for "Pool Party atmosphere" with conga lines, music and cocktail servers you WON'T find it at Kona Isle.
If mobility is an issue, please consider that this unit is on the 3rd floor and Kona Isle does not have an elevator.
Smoking or vaping of tobacco or any substance is not allowed in the condo or on Kona Isle grounds.
