Welcome to our 5 star rated vacation home. We call our home Forever Sunsets because with just a short walk to the water in our gated community you can watch the sunset every night. You are also a short 600 yard walk to Magic Sands Beach, the most popular sandy beach in Kailua-Kona. As you are centrally located the home is a little over a mile to downtown Kona and all the shops and restaurants and roughly a mile from the Keauhou Shopping Center and bars and restaurants there. The house has been a vacation rental for a number of years with the prior owners receiving over 25 Five Star Reviews! The house has air conditioning, high ceilings, gourmet kitchen and large patio area next to a plunge pool perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach. We also have a ping pong table, bocce ball and corn hole boards for the active family. When you enter the house it has the "wow factor" as you are treated to a large open concept living room, kitchen and dining room area that is tastefully decorated with custom art and furniture pieces. There is also one bedroom off the main entrance with a king sized bed that can also be used as a separate media room if you want a space to let the kids watch their shows while the adults socialize in the main downstairs living area or outdoors. Upstairs off the main living room is a very large master bedroom with a king sized bed and covered lanai (porch) with an ocean view. The master has an amazing attached bathroom. There is also a small twin sized settee in the room that can come in handy if you have a younger one that wants to sleep closer to mom and dad but not in bed with them. The northern wing of the house has another large downstairs master bedroom with a king sized bed and generous bathroom and walk-in closet. The upstairs of the northern wing of the house has another master bedroom with a queen sized bed and bathroom and second bedroom that has two double sized beds and a bathroom. The house is designed for all the guests to be spread out and to maximize privacy with the bedrooms separated out between the different wings of the house. In all, the house has 3 bedrooms with king sized beds, one bedroom with a queen sized bed, one bedroom with double beds, a twin sized settee, a twin sized bed, several padded cots and a pull out couch in the main living area. As a result, the house can comfortably accommodate 12-14 guests. As we love going to the beach with our family and friends, we've stocked the house with plenty of beach toys such as beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards, beach towels and surf boards in the garage for guest use. The house comes with a washer and dryer, which means you can pack light. We have a bocce ball set at the house that you can play at the beach or on the lawn in the side yard plus there are other board games and toys for guest use. As we have family and kids that use the house, we've tried to make the house feel like you are coming home to live rather than in the typical sterile vacation rental. In addition to being in a gated ocean front community, the house only has a neighbor on one side meaning that it adds to your families privacy while you are staying. Ocean access is by a path from the house to the water approximately 100 yards away where there are tide pools and where you can sit and watch sunsets during your stay. In addition to a plunge pool, the outdoor patio has a large dinner table, chairs, lounges and a bbq for family gatherings.
