This unit is perfect for traveling students, interns, or medical/business professionals coming to DC!
The location is very convenient and close to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center which is located above the Mount Vernon Metro station. The Convention Center is a 15 minute walk to/from the house. The Shaw Metro station is 3 blocks to the apartment. The largest grocery store in DC (Giant Foods) is about a 10 minute walk on P and 8th streets. This house comes with a paid parking space (not included in the quote) and huge front yard!
The House:
This is a large house with 4 bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms.
This house has a commercial kitchen with high end stainless steel appliances, a large dining room, a recreation room and a very comfortable living room. This house is newly renovated and has an open floor plan!
When you open the front door you will see how spacious and grand this house really is. The plaster molding combined with very high ceilings give the house a special ambiance where the living room is only a third of the space. There is a LED Smart TV with HBO, Netflix and other apps plus a 3D Blue-ray, DVD player with smart apps in the living room. We have WIFI and live streaming tv with ROKU included in the package.
On the ground/main floor, you will find a living room, recreation room (different a seating arrangement than the living room), dining room, full bath with a shower, and commercial kitchen. **The dining room can easily seat 12 people.**
The commercial kitchen has a commercial range, refrigerator, sink and hood and looks into the dining room. There is also a stacked washer and dryer in the kitchen.
When you walk up the stairs to the second floor, you will first see two bedrooms. Both of these bedrooms have king beds and a wardrobe + chest of drawers in each. The upstairs floor has a balcony connecting these two bedrooms to the opposite side of the house. Once you cross the balcony you will find the second bathroom with a shower, the third bedroom with a closet + chest of drawers, and the biggest bathroom in the house, complete with double sinks, a bath tub, and a shower. Finally, at the very end of the hallway there is the last bedroom which has a king bed with a wardrobe + chest of drawers.
