Positive: The location is excellent – one block from the beach, close to surfing lessons and food truck parks. The place is also well equipped, especially with beach gear (chairs, towels, etc.), which was very convenient.

Negative: Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed the positives. The cleaning was poor – there was dust everywhere, and we found two dead cockroaches plus had to kill another one ourselves right after check-in. The cabinets are old and worn. But the biggest issue was the inflexible and restrictive check-in/out policy. Check-in is strictly at 4:00 PM and check-out is strictly at 10:00 AM, with no flexibility at all. The host’s message literally said: “There will be no early check ins.” This narrow window really reduced the value of a 5-night stay and left a very negative impression. Plus communication is a big challenge, you’re going to be overwhelmed with automatic messages but when it comes to reach them out forget it, at least 2h for a response.

Summary: Overall, while the location is great, the lack of cleanliness and the rigid check-in/out policy mean I wouldn’t stay
