This two-story home sits at the southern tip of Sand Lake, which is connected by small pathways to Kiddies Pond and the sandy beaches at Bucks Pond and John Joseph Pond (both of which are wonderful for swimming). It's the perfect, central location in the Great Sand Lakes Association, with Hawksnest State Park (one mile), Red River Beach (three miles), and Cranberry Valley Golf Course (three miles) all close by. Charming downtown Chatham, Veterans Field, Brewster, Hardings Beach, and Lighthouse Beach are less than six miles away as well.
Go for a morning paddle or bike ride and return home for breakfast and a view of the pond outside on the deck. You could easily spend the whole day here, playing cornhole in the yard, barbecuing on the gas grill, and gathering at the picnic table with your favorite tunes playing on the Bluetooth Bose speakers.
