This is a very cute little bungalow home in the downtown Beulah residential district. It is in a great location just a short walk from downtown Beulah (with shops, restaurants, cafes, post office, library, and a microbrewery) as well as just a short walk from Crystal Lake and Beulah Beach. Provides for a great base location for exploring the northwest corner of Michigan's Lower Peninsula!
Although bedding is not shown on the beds in the photos, all beds will have bedding (sheets, pillows, pillowcases, and comforter) provided.
We have a local property manager that lives in the area and is available to address any issues that arise.
The home is located in the downtown Beulah residential district, which consists primarily of vacation homes. It is a very safe neighborhood! The home is just a short walk from downtown Beulah, which features a cute arrangement of shops, restaurants, cafes, a microbrewery, a library, a church, and the town post office. Beulah is located on the southeast corner of Crystal Lake, which is a wonderful recreational lake and is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful lakes in Michigan.
Outside of Beulah, the start of Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore is just a short drive (approx. 15 minutes) from the bungalow. Also, Lake Michigan, its beautiful beaches, and the adorable beach towns of Arcadia, Frankfort, and Empire are less than a 30-minute drive from the bungalow.
For bigger city attractions, downtown Traverse City is only about a 45-minute drive from the bungalow. Traverse City is the most popular tourist town in all of Michigan and features a wonderful array of shops, restaurants, beaches, parks, theaters, and museums!
The location of the bungalow truly provides for a great getaway to northern Michigan for individuals, couples, families, or small groups!
The bungalow has 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and the full bathroom are located on the first floor. The other 2 bedrooms and the half-bathroom are located on the second floor. The first floor bedroom has a queen-size bed and the two upstairs bedrooms each have full-size beds. There is a window A/C unit in one of the upstairs bedrooms to cool the upstairs. The home has a natural gas forced-air furnace for heating. The home has Wi-Fi and a television with live streaming.
The home has a full kitchen with all appliances, including an electric range, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A good supply of cooking and dining utensils are included as well. Between the kitchen and the living room there is a dining area that has a dining table and seating for 6 adults. There is also a convenient work desk on the first floor next to the dining area.
Outside, the bungalow has a large and super cute front porch, which is great for relaxing and people watching. The home is dog-friendly and up to 2 dogs are allowed. The home has a fully fenced-in front yard, which is great for dogs! There is a long driveway next to the house and a large backyard for kids to play in.
