Escape to our cozy, family-friendly farmhouse perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nestled in a serene setting, our modern home features an amazing kitchen equipped with Thermador appliances and a spacious family room with an indoor fireplace and TV. Enjoy year-round picturesque views of the pond from the front porch with rocking Adirondack chairs, and charming barn with cows, offering a delightful rural experience.
The two-floor farmhouse features three bedrooms and two and one-half bathrooms. Sheets, towels, and basic toiletries are included. The second floor includes:
* a master suite with queen bed and private bathroom
* a bedroom with a full bed
* a trundle bedroom with two single beds
Breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner catering available with full seasonal menu is optional and delivered before each meal.
Outdoor recreation is at the heart of the Endless Mountains. Sullivan and Wyoming counties are home to three state parks, vast public lands, and miles of hiking and biking trails. With sweeping vistas and roaring waterfalls, you’ll find adventures around every corner. A local guide with recommendations on state parks, hiking trails and family-friendly events will be provided. Access to golf at the Eagles Mere Country Club as well as area lakes for swimming are available upon request.
The farmhouse is a privately owned property that has been in our family for generations. It has recently been rebuilt and restored with modern appliances and amenities. Guests will have full use of the house during their stay. Also, please do not enter the barn or other outdoor farm buildings–they are beautiful but old. The cows too are quite cute (and enclosed in an electric fence) but should not be approached. Additionally, please do not walk around the barn to the back side as it will scare the cows and they may run through the electric fence. For safety, ATVs, fires and fireworks, hiking beyond the general vicinity of the house and yard, and swimming in the pond are not permitted.
