The space
Historical home built in the late 1800s and updated with modern conveniences. Located in historic Lavaca area, which is a part of the larger Southtown district, the thriving Arts District in San Antonio and home to many of the best bars and restaurants in the city.

Other things to note
Home has Smart TVs for you to login into your favorite streaming services. There is high speed wireless internet. There are exterior video cameras at both exterior doors for our security. Children are welcome but our house is not childproofed.
The entire downtown area is surrounded by trains. The closest track to our home is on the other side of the highway by the Alamodome - about 3/4 mile away. If you are a light sleeper you may hear the trains.
** Exterior Video Cameras on the Front and Back Porch which monitor the exterior door and patio areas adjacent to the front and back door.

In town for a business convention and all the hotels were sold out or overpriced and I needed a place close to the convention center. Safe location, clean, nice decor, comfortable beds and fair price !! Will stay here again on my next trip to San Antonio.

One of the best Airbnb's I've stayed in. Comfortable beds with upgraded linens, nice master and guest shower with great water pressure + quality soap options. Kitchen was updated and had a variety of awesome appliances. Washer/dryer were clean and like new, easy to use. Fridge/ freezer were completely empty for our use. Quiet backyard we would've definitely used if it had been a little warmer outside. I would stay here again and recommend highly to friends travelling to San Antonio. Todd was an incredible host and was extremely responsive and was key in a successful, fun weekend in town.

This house was super cozy and comfy! My friends and I had a blast staying there and actually didn’t even want to leave the house that often because we enjoyed the backyard so much. Great place and great location!

Todd's place was so adorable! We loved staying there and everything was very stylish. The beds were amazing and the first night I couldn't get fan to work. Todd stopped by and found the fan remote was in a drawer and that's all it was (I should have thought of that!) He was quick to respond and quick to solve a problem. Would definitely recommend. Close walking distance to conference center.
Amy- The neighborhood is really nice! The house was perfect and has a lot of character. The house was furnished with towels, dishes, plenty of blankets, games and so much more!! The home was very clean! They have a binder in the home with local eateries as well as places to sight see. I really loved the neighborhood! There are many local places to eat around the area. We ate at Rosario's as well as Taco Haven on our way out. My family and I will definitely go through Todd next time we are down in San Antonio. This was my first time using airbnb and it was a great experience!!!

Bill- My friends and I wanted a place to stay close to downtown so we could attend the rodeo and have a night out. The house was perfect for this. We were able to walk to dinner, take a cheap Uber to the rodeo and walk home from the Riverwalk after we went out. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks and we will be back.
