Built in 1846 and meticulously renovated in 2009, this historic property – once the oldest Methodist Church on Martha’s Vineyard – is now a stunning vacation home, capturing the ambiance of the Romantic Era through the elegance of exceptional contemporary design.
Set on ¾ of an acre on Lambert’s Cove Road and comprising 2,714 square feet of open-plan living space, the property provides accommodation for up to six people and includes two residential buildings, offering an ideal balance of community and privacy among guests.
The Parsonage is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house with full kitchen. French doors open out from the living & dining areas onto a rustic granite patio, complete with outdoor lounge seating, barbeque grill, and fire pit.
The Church is a master suite with king-sized bed, kitchenette, and full bath with soaking tub and shower. Historic details have been preserved throughout, including the pressed tin ceiling, wide plank wood floors, and original lighting fixtures. Even the bell in the tower can be rung! (Its tone is C#.)
The Church & Parsonage share an outdoor shower.
