Summary: Our stay at Hilltop Vacation Rental was comfortable overall, and we stayed in Room #1. The room offered a wonderful view with plenty of livable space, and the adjoining patio was definitely a great perk. The location was convenient and provided easy access to town, which made getting around simple. The host was very courteous, and the key entry process was flawless. We also enjoyed the common area, including the indoor pool room. And if you enjoy a bit of local character, there are roosters roaming around the property. We didn’t happen to see the famous cat that many other reviewers mentioned, but we’re sure he was out making his rounds. There were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The bathroom did not include washcloths, and towels were somewhat limited, with one bath towel and one hand towel provided per person. However, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were available. The room itself is quite dated and could benefit from some upgrades. The property is large and has a lot of potential, though the exterior could use a good spring cleaning and pressure washing to freshen things up. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend it based on our experience. We would rate it a 3.5 out of 5
